Counselling offers a safe, confidential space to talk openly and make sense of what’s happening in your life.
I provide integrative counselling which combines different approaches to support your wellbeing, self-awareness and personal growth.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, grief, stress or life changes, therapy can help you find clarity, confidence and a way forward.
How counselling helps
The purpose of counselling is to create a supportive, confidential, and collaborative space where you can explore whatever feels difficult or overwhelming right now.
It’s a place to feel heard, supported, and understood; often in ways that might be new or different. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s happening, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and find practical ways to help you cope, heal and grow.
Counselling can sometimes bring up strong emotions or memories. This is a normal and valuable part of the process, and we’ll always go at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. Over time, many people find counselling to be deeply empowering and even life-changing, helping them reconnect with who they are and what matters most.
The purpose of counselling
The type of counselling I provide
I offer Integrative Counselling, which simply means I combine different approaches to suit you as an individual, because no two people are the same.
Rather than following one single method, I draw on a range of techniques to create a flexible, personalised approach for every client.
This may include:
Person-centred: offering a warm, non-judgemental space where you can be yourself and take things at your own pace.
Psychodynamic: gently exploring how your past experiences and relationships might be shaping how you feel and respond today.
Gestalt: focuses on the present moment, helping you notice how your thoughts, feelings and actions connect as a whole. This awareness can bring clarity, insight and new ways of responding to life’s challenges.
By blending these ways of working, I can tailor each session to what you need most. Whether that’s time to talk, practical tools to manage anxiety or stress, or deeper insight into recurring patterns.
At its heart, integrative counselling is about supporting the whole person (not just the problem) so you can feel more grounded, self-aware, and confident in your own voice.
